Proverbs 3:5-6 reads "Trust in the LORD with all your heart,And lean not on your own understanding;In all your ways acknowledge Him,And He shall direct your paths.

Distraction often come our way and easily we are tempted to follow our hearts desires.Leave Him, and you will certainly fall.Many occassions such as these are proven in the Old Testament.But David,was a man who sought after God's own heart. That was his desire. And that was why David was probably Israel's greatest kings.He entrusted everything into God's Hands.

Matthew 6:33 reads "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Hebrews 13:5 reads " I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
Such an amazing promise that God has given unto us.When times of trouble should come our way, when dark empty spaces swallows up our heart, turn to Him.And be amazed at what our Lord God Almighty can do.

Do not forget your first love, i for one confess that i have turned away.But looking at this video, i realised, have we ever placed our eyes and see from His point of view? i believe that God suffers worst instead of us when we turn our eyes away from Him.Love Him then, for He has first loved us.

ALERT TO ALL CHRISTIANS!!!!!!u all kno tht as christians our testimonies must be very good for we are His disciples.We are bearing His name and u do not want our Lord's name to be talked bad about just because of us not acting like Him right?Actually tht's not all.Another reason y we must jaga our testimonies is so tht ppl can be saved.Even through our actions and how we live ppl can be turned to Christ.When they see our passion and fire for Him!Neways have you ever thought tht u might be the only Jesus some ppl will ever see?or even the Word of Life some will ever read? Jesus said , "Therefore go and make discepls of all nations,baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit".One if the ways to evangelise is through the way we live.So WE are accountable for the way WE live!!Check out this song i heard.very meaningful..enjoy!

Christian Marriage

haha..i kno wht u're thinking!"wht the?why la think so far?We're just teens u kno!"...yeah yeah i kno all tht but this is for ppl who are interested and maybe need more enlightening of this subject in the Christian view.Anyways some information can also be applied with dating.Hope this'll help.haha!

Marriage had been ordained of the Lord for the procreation of the race and the establishment of homes for children where happiness and joy can reign!

Reasons for Marriage
- to obey the command of God. Genesis 1:28 "Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth
- for fellowship. Genesis 3:18 "And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone."
-for partnership. Ecclesiastes 4:9-11 "Two are better than one, for if they fall, one can lift up one another.
- to obey biological desires.Man is born with certain desires tht are good, holy and legitimate but can only be satisfied in marriage.

Whom to Marry
Christians can only marry Christians. 2 Corinthians 6:14-17 "Be ye not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers." In God's sight it is a travesty for a godly person and an ungodly one to be united in holy matrimony to be one flesh.How can they become one when one serves God, holines and rightousnes while the other Sin and Satan?

When to Marry
-When God guides you into marriage after much prayer and seeking His will
-When you kno the other person sufficiently well esp the good points ans bad points.Hasty marriages are dangerous!
-Wait for love. Infactuation is NOT sufficient. Marriage is for life, and it will take godly love (1 Corinthians 13) to make a happy home.
-Wait until u're old enough to marry.Marriage is meant for adults, not children for it carries heavy responsibilities requiring maturity and experience.
-Wait for aproval of parents!THID IS VERY IMPORTANT!
-Let both wholeheartedly agree to keep the marriage vows at any cost.If one partner is reluctant, delay marriage and wait for maturity and assurance.

Principles of a Happy Marriage
-A successful marriage is based on genuine heart agreement of the couple.
-They must be willing to establish a Christian home with a husband as head of the home.
-It must be based on lifetime anticipation " til death do us part". Marriage is not an experiment for a short time. It is permanent.
-The succesfull marriage is should have blessigs of children. Psalms 127:3-5 "Lo, the children are an heritage of the Lord...happy is the man tht hath quiver full of them"
-Insist on a public Christian wedding.Never consider a secret marriage!Marriage is far too sacred for this!
-Let both learn to pray together over every problem and misunderstanding.
-Let each other continually express his or her love for his or her partner both by act and word.

Conclusion
-Make Christ the Head of the home, both the Lord and Saviour of the home.
-Let the husband mantain a tender love for his wife and children
-Let the wife develop the unselfish love of a wife ad mother
-Let engaged couples and young people be much in prayer about this important subject!

WHEN TO JUGDE

READ MATTHEW 7:1-12

Many people believe that Christians are told never to judge others. As "proof," they quote Jesus ' words in Matthew 7: "Judge not, that you not be judged" (v.1). But a closer look at what Jesus saidshows that there are times when we must make judgments.

In verses 1 to5, Jesus warned us how easy it is to be blind to our own faults while we pick at the faults of others. In verse six, however, He showed us the necessity of judging. He told us, "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, turn and tear you in pieces."

To follow Jesus' teaching, we must learn the differences between judging people and evaluating situations. But who among us is wise enough to consider any situation without condemning or judging the person involved? That is why in verse 7 to 11, we are told to earnestly ask, seek, and implore help from our heavenly Father. "Your Father who is in heaven [will] give good things to those who ask Him' (v.11).

Whenever we must make judgments, we must prayerfully bear in mind that our God is the one who "will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil' (Ecclesiastes 12:14)

If you are called upon the judge-

A situation to discern,

Don't shy away when duty calls,

But to God's Word for wisdom turn.

Backsliding

Often we find tht someone tht is a strong Christian today but backslides later on.Backsliding simply means growing cold and losing interest in the Lord,the Bible,prayer,church attendance and witnessing,and turning toward theworld.Sometimes we ask the question :Who is the next person who will leave the Lord?and the usual answer is *drum roll..* "of course not me la!" 1 Cor 10:12 says : So, if you think you are standing firm, becareful that you do not fall. Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.We are all kept by the grace and strength of the Lord.He is able to keep us from falling.However, if we continuously refuse His grace and assistance, we will fall.

Causes of Backsliding
-failure to mantain quiet time
-failure to pray
-failure to attend church
-failure to obey the Holy Spirit
-failure to read the bible
-failure to walk in the light

The Results of Backsliding
There will be a loss of power, a loss of peace, a loss of joy and happiness.Murmuring and darkness will cloud the daily path.Backsliding will lead to the loss of many heavenly and spiritual rewards.

God's Invitation to Return
Jeremiah 3:22 "return, ye backsliding children and I willl heal your backslidings".

God's Promise Of Pardon for Backsliding
Hosea 14:4 "I will heal their backslidings, I will love them freely :for Mine anger is turned away from him".

Conclusion
The true Christian hates backsliding. Psalms 101:3 "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes;I hate the work of them that turn aside."
Revelation 2:10 "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life"

this is about reaching out unto others.

matthew 16:13-20~individually you are a pebble and upon you (each and everyone) Jesus will build His church. You are the church, each and everyone must play their part to function as a church. It goes on to say that the gates of Hade/Hell will not overcome it.
By this in an opinion, the church that Jesus reffered to was a church of 'attackers' to go and preach the Good News unto those outside God's Kingdom which are those who are within the boundaries set by the world or the gates of Hell. Even so, we Christians will not be overcome by it but remain steadfast. Persevering.

God has placed us in a unique position, raising us Malaysian Christians to be missionaries. Example, we live in a multiracial country which is also multi-lingual. By this we are able to communicate easily unto others. Compared to a korean who have lots of trouble understanding english or whatsoever. Another example is that we (indians and chineses) are 2nd class citizens. Which enable us to link to people like Africans for example. We are similiarly in the same position with them. Given an European in comparisson, they are first class citizens. It would be harder for them to understand the situation of those 'under-privilage people' so to speak.

imagine your at the end of your rope of life. Counting the number of fingers that remains tightly a-grip upon that last life line. And just at the moment your slipping away into darkness, your thoughts flashes by. The memories of your loved ones, the times you spent with them. You recall whether you've done your best in this life, regretting many opportunities you had to Love, just love. Be it the time you said NO to your mommy or daddy who wanted to have just a nice meal with you. But you were too busy with your friends because you were ashamed that they might call you mommy's boy. You then begin to wonder whether your life had any meaning or value that your existence had made a scar good or bad in the people around you. Would there be a difference if you had'nt existed? Depression overwhelms your fragile heart and you long for love, just love. Thightly held in the arms of your father, listening to the soothing whispers of your mommy, you long that you would just get one more day with them. Even just to whisper them back, "i love you"

Well this happened to a boy in a movie titled 'Artificial Inteligence a.k.a A.I. Living as a robot, it was hard for him to understand the meaning of love in which he struggled. Such to the extent that he sought almost for the impossible. This was because he was told that only humans could experience love, NOT robots. Frustrated, he longed to become a boy eventhough he knew it would be impossible because science is NOT god and is bounded. He got a clue on how to be a real boy. He belived that the blue fairy could turn him to a real boy as the blue fairy did in the story 'Pinnochio'. Eventually, his desire brought him to disney land, where he stood day and night before the statue of the blue fairy. After millions of years, earth was drowned with water and the entire human race was wiped out. Being an 'advance' robot, he survived the harsh conditions, and remained there infront of the statue still. During that time, aliens came to survey the earth and found him there.
In his wildest dreams, the alien were technologically able to revive his dead human mother with the help of DNA from her strand of hair in which the robot boy kept, with an exception that she would be able to last only a day. BUT still unable to change to robot into a real boy.

Being an abandoned boy robot with a teddy bear robot, this 'boy' was thrown out of the house by a host family after putting up with so many bad situations the 'boy' caused. Hurt in a robot way, he sought a solution to become human.

After all this years, he finally digested the thought that he would never be able to become human. Even so, he had that one more day just to be with his mom. His REAL desire wasnt actually to be human, but to be accepted by his 'mom', to be loved by her, to be able to feel that goodnight kiss on his cheeks everynight, to be held in the arms of a mother, to be soothed in times of sadness. All that, just to be loved.

We are fragile beings, we need to be fueled with Love to drive us each day. To give us strength for each new day, to give us hope for a new wave of troubles.

Love washed away a multitude of sins.

Man needs love.

Jesus paid the price on the cross for our sins.

He displayed love to EVERYONE on that cross, people that were, people that is, and people that are yet to become people. His LOVE is not bounded.

By this, JESUS personified LOVE. PURE love.

GOD is LOVE. HE is the very essence of it.

if you say you believe in GOD, but you do not love. Can it be possible?

if you were given one more day as a chance to prove your life's worth, what will you do?

imagine this.

you've lost your way, you have no idea where you are heading to,
your tired, withering, fading back.

the things you do seems to be meaningless and hopeless and to what purpose you do them you do not know.

dont they sound familiar to you? perhaps each and everyone of you who reads this have went through this terrible path.

think again. do not trust your emotions, will you allow them to mislead you?

aiya!...small matters like this nevermind wan lar, what you need is Jesus and a friend to be by your side at all times!

For once, it is NOT your way! its GOD's way ( Jesus said, " I am the Way, the Truth and the Light)

and for meaningless feeling, WE are actually meaningless and hopeless because we are a fallen race. THATS why GOD had to send HIS SON to die for our sins.
but this doesnt mean your are still meaningless because we are made new in HIM.
WE are precious in HIS eyes believe it or not. and HE loves YOU deeply, MAKE SURE YOU do NOT forget HIM as your first love.

are you running in this race? persevering, braving thru harsh times that discourage and break you down.

Call upon HIM, thats what i did, and i turned to HIM for absolutely NO reason at all. The Holy Spirit works in tremendous ways, beyond our comprehension. perhaps it was love that drew me to HIM. but i know that it was the same with GOD. with ABSOLUTELY NO REASON AT ALL, Christ died for our sins. Because HE first loved us.

i personaly like to think this life as a love story. and i would certainly want to LOVE HIM more! for GOD IS LOVE!. HE is the very essence of it! HE is LOVE!. understand that!

the greatest commandment: LOVE THE LORD GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH!.

When all seems gloomy

We all face troubles.
ALWAYS.

If I would ask any of you whether your life has been a bed of roses, what would your answer be?
If you say no, obviously you are lying.

Well same goes here.
Life for me has never been the one I dreamed of.
Things has never been smooth sailing ones.

At times, I feel like giving up.
At times, I feel like running away.
At times, I question God.
At times, I want to end my life.
I always feel that my life has never been fair.
Nothing I wanted came easily.
I always ask God why are these things happening to me.
I wanted to give up in believing God cause the more I believe in Him, the worse things turned out to be.

Every time all I ever hear is to keep holding on.
"Keep holding on, God is there."
I will ask in anger where is Him when I needed Him the most?
Where is He when I'm hurting the most?
The rage would stay there.
But once these things are over, I sat down and think about it.
You see, most of the times God put me through these things is to teach me to believe Him.
Is to have faith.
Is to persevere.
And I would finally got why all those things came.
These things make us a much better person.
It had definitely made me a much more solid person.

So.
Keep holding on.
God is there.
He just wants you to learn.
He wants you to have faith in Him.
Faith.

When light exposes darkness

aint this a pretty picture? i took this on the way home from penang, yeah! anyway i just want to share a verse from the Gospel of Matthew (5:16) 'Let your light shine before men that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven'.

Our actions and the words that we speak shows what is in our heart and mind. As written in the Bible, what overflows from the heart, flows through our mouth. As Christians, we should take every opportunity to shine before men for we are ambassadors for Chirst ( as Li Sa shared on friday) just as Paul was in chains to serve God. Wake up O sleepy ones, for no one lights a lamp and put in under a bowl. We are salt and light unto the world.

Be a Christian, even through small actions like saying thank you or saying sorry to forgive someone. I personaly did this throughout last year. Now, my friends have learned to say sorry and thank you too! What a joy it is to serve God even in small matters! But do not be discourage if you face troubles and problems in this journey." For we KNOW that GOD causes EVERYTHING to work TOGETHER for the good of those who love HIM" ( a verse from the Bible..forgot which). This verse has personally helped me alot too. For if we know how to accept good gifts from God, should we know how to accept bad things that come our way ?

Consider Job, whom everything was taken away from, yet he still could say, "naked i come from my mothers womb and naked i shall leave this world". May this little passage help all of you in many ways as it has helped me. Remember!..we are darkness exposers so "shine your light as you hold out the Word of life"
